Certificate II in Information Technology (ICA20105)
This course provides the foundation computing skills and knowledge for an individual to be an effective information technology user and who would like to gain confidence using computers.
The course is suitable for people seeking computing and information technology skills who lack formal qualifications or previous experience using computers. Topics covered in the modules include operating computer hardware and operating systems, using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point), accessing the internet and email and using a digital camera.
The course consists of 14 modules. Students will be assessed on each module, and must obtain competency in each module to pass the course and obtain the certification.
